BXTA Events Calendar – July – December 2022

The first six months of 2022 have seen a gradual return to in person events, and the team at BXTA has relished the opportunity to get face to face and connect with colleagues, partners and industry peers – as well as being able to demonstrate our latest advances and achievements. As we enter the second half of the year, this trend continues. We are pleased to share our upcoming events and look forward to seeing you there!

9th-10th September: Imperial Prostate Masterclass

BXTA will be attending the Imperial Prostate Masterclass, led by Prof. Hashim U. Ahmed. The event will be hosted in the Sir Alexander Fleming Building at the Imperial College London campus. Recent research suggests using mpMRI for lesion detection and biopsy avoidance in the diagnostic pathway. The North England Urological Society (NEUS) will be an all-day event held at the Durham County Cricket ground in Chester-Le-Street. BXTA is excited to be attending this event.

1st-2nd December: The 2022 GEC Estro Workshop

After almost 2 years of virtual events, the GEC-ESTRO workshop will be held in person in Nice, France this year. The workshop aims to bring together the brachytherapy community, whilst giving individuals and organisations the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

This year’s theme is ‘Improving Brachytherapy Together,’ and will cover exciting new aspects of brachytherapy. Besides the scientific elements of the workshop, it will also include networking and educational activities amongst exhibitors.  Wilco Van Der Lugt and John Alden will be attending this event on behalf of BXTA.
