The team at BXTAccelyon is delighted to welcome Kalpesh as the latest addition to its number.

Kalpesh is an experienced Clinical Application Specialist, having previously worked in a similar role across the Midlands area. There he implemented a number of departmental policies and procedures, and provided ultrasound training and applications support in a number of clinical areas.

Kalpesh is passionate about healthcare. As part of his Clinical Application Specialist role for BXTAccelyon, he will be responsible for training new and existing healthcare professionals. He will support clinicians and nurse specialists in operating theatres, day surgery and outpatient rooms in the use of PrecisionPoint™Transperineal Access System, the innovative new prostate cancer biopsy device that is bypassing the need for the transrectal ultrasound guided (TRUS) technique, a risky transrectal prostate cancer biopsy that many Trusts are phasing out.

Kalpesh will be central to efforts to expand the number of hospitals offering PrecisionPoint. With the expansion of BXTAccelyon’s Oncology and Urology business, his appointment couldn’t come at a more opportune time. Kalpesh will be key to the continued international growth of the BXTAccelyon business, initially focusing on UK, Ireland and Northern European markets, he will look to expand his role to cover further geographies within the next two years.
