BXTAccelyon and Dr Nader Awad, Urologist at Port Macquarie Urology Centre, are looking forward to welcoming GPs to a clinical update on the treatment options for prostate cancer being held in Port Macquarie on 13th February.

The event, bringing together GPs from across the local community, will provide an update on the developments in brachytherapy treatment for localised prostate cancer and what this means for GPs and their patients.

We are delighted to be joined by international speaker Dr. Mira Keyes, Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Radiation Oncologist, British Columbia Cancer Agency (BCCA) – Vancouver Centre, the largest academic cancer centre for the BCCA. She is also Head of the BCCA Prostate Brachytherapy Program BC Cancer Agency (BCCA). This will be a unique opportunity to hear from an international expert on the treatment options for prostate cancer with radiation therapy.
