BXTAccelyon continues its commitment to growth

Over the last few years BXTAccelyon has grown into one of the UK’s leading partners to hospitals and clinics worldwide, providing low-dose rate brachytherapy as an effective treatment for prostate cancer. We have come a long way from where we first started including extensive team expansion, increased partnerships and supplying to various locations overseas.

So, here’s an overview of what’s changed in the last 12 months, both successes and plans we’ve put in place to be able to maintain momentum.

Team Expansion

Each team member is an expert in their field with a wealth of industry experience, individually contributing to BXTAccelyon’s increased success. We pride ourselves on the ability to deliver a reliable and efficient service and as such, we will continue to invest in our first class team, who understand what is important to our customers.

Please help us welcome the following into the fold:

Guy Pettigrew – Finance Director
After completing his studies at Warwick University, Guy embarked on a career as a chartered accountant, going on to hold several Financial Director roles in AIM-listed and VC-backed businesses.

Laura Kedzlie – Marketing Director
Laura joined us in February 2017. She has over 12 years’ B2B and B2C marketing experience across a range of sectors, with her most recent position at Bupa placing her in an exceptional position to spearhead our global marketing efforts.

Katrin Henicz – Customer Service Executive
Katrin joins us with a strong customer service background having worked for Oncura for a number of years. Katrin is fluent in German which will allow us to provide exceptional customer service to more countries.

Melanie Durrant – Customer Service Specialist
Melanie has 19 years’ experience within the customer service industry. Before joining BXTAccelyon Melanie worked with InHealth, which was contracted by the NHS to provide mobile scanners designed to screen cancer patients.

Maurice Voncken – Benelux Sales Manager
Maurice joins us with over 29 years’ experience within international sales, marketing and general management roles specifically within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Brachytherapy has been used to successfully treat prostate cancer for the last 25 years and it is exciting to see that awareness of the treatment continues to grow.
