There he implemented a number of departmental policies and procedures, and provided ultrasound training and applications support in a number of clinical areas.<\/div>\n<div>Kalpesh is passionate about healthcare. As part of his Clinical Application Specialist role for BXTAccelyon, he will be responsible for training new and existing healthcare professionals. He will support clinicians and nurse specialists in operating theatres, day surgery and outpatient rooms in the use of PrecisionPoint&#x2122;Transperineal Access System, the innovative new prostate cancer biopsy device that is bypassing the need for the transrectal ultrasound guided (TRUS) technique, a risky transrectal prostate cancer biopsy that many Trusts are phasing out.<\/div>\n<div>Kalpesh will be central to efforts to expand the number of hospitals offering PrecisionPoint. With the expansion of BXTAccelyon\u2019s Oncology and Urology business, his appointment couldn\u2019t come at a more opportune time.
