BXTAccelyon is dedicated to raising awareness of LDR brachytherapy (LDR-B) and the full range of treatment options available to prostate cancer patients. Over the course of the last twelve months we have attended many international events and conferences and the latter part of this year is set to follow suit.

So, here is what’s coming up for BXTAccelyon around the world!

October

The Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand Conference 2017

The Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand Conference 2017 (USANZ) will be held on the 11th-13th October in the

picturesque Bay of Plenty, at the Trinity Wharf Hotel, Tauranga. The conference is shaping up to be an event not to be missed, with an extensive programme and a keynote speech from the highly regarded Dr Stacy Loeb, Assistant Professor of Urology and Population Health at New York University.

We will have an exhibition stand where you’ll be able to find out more about LDR-B and the revolutionary PrecisionPoint transperineal prostate biopsy device.

ABRO-BVRO Autumn meeting – The best of Prostate, GI & Brain Cancer

On the 20th and 21st October we will be exhibiting at the ABRO-BVRO Autumn meeting which will be dedicated to ‘The best of Prostate, GI & Brain Cancer’. The event will take place at Dolce La Hulpe, Brussels.

There will be a number of presentations and discussions with several national societies involved in radiation oncology presenting their work, goals and accomplishments. Friday 20th October will be focussing specifically on the Best of Prostate Cancer.

NVU -Nederlandse Vereniging Voor Urologie

On 3rd November, we will be we’ll be exhibiting at the Autumn meeting of the Dutch Association of Urology (The NVU). The NVU is a scientific professional association for medical urology specialists. With over 650 members, the association’s goal is the promotion of urology and its members interests.

Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand Trainee Week

We will be exhibiting during Trainee Week which runs from Sunday 19th November – Thursday 23rd November at the Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. The compulsory week is a premier education meeting specifically for SET Urology trainees. The SET program in Urology is designed to improve the quality and efficiency of surgical education, arming doctors with the skills and competencies to become excellent Urologists.

BAU Congress 2017 – 17th Annual Congress

We’re proud to be a bronze sponsor of the BAU congress 2017 – 17th Annual Congress. The conference will be held on the 1st and 2nd of December at the Stayen congress facilities in Sint-Truiden, Belgium. The theme this year is ‘reconstructive aspects of modern urology.’

Many national and international faculty members will come together to share their expertise on subjects including; ‘updates in end urology’, ‘urinary diversions and ‘pediatric reconstructive urology’.
