Die von der Canary Foundation finanzierte Studie untersuchte die F\u00e4higkeit der Prostata-MRT zur Erkennung von Krebs der Gleason-Grad-Gruppe (GG) \u22652 in einer standardisierten, multiinstitutionellen Active-Surveillance-Kohorte und schloss mit der Empfehlung einer systematischen Biopsie bei Patienten mit einer negativen MRT und der Aufnahme einer systematischen Biopsie bei Patienten mit einer positiven MRT.<\/div>\n<div>Ausgewertet wurden M\u00e4nner, die an der Prostate Active Surveillance Study (PASS) der Canary Foundation mit GG&lt;2 teilnahmen und bei denen innerhalb von 12 Monaten nach einer multiparametrischen MRT eine Biopsie durchgef\u00fchrt wurde. Der prim\u00e4re Endpunkt der Studie war die Reklassifizierung der Biopsie in GG2 oder h\u00f6her.<\/div>\n<div>Es gab 361 Teilnehmer mit 395 Prostata-MRTs mit einem medianen Follow-up von 4,1 (IQR: 2,0-7,6) Jahren. Insgesamt zeigten 108\/395 (27 %) Biopsien eine Reklassifizierung. Definiert man eine positive MRT als PIRADS 3-5, betrug der NPV und PPV f\u00fcr die Erkennung von GG \u22652 Krebs 83% (95% CI: 76-90%) bzw. 31% (95% CI: 26-37%). PIRADS war in einem multivariablen Modell signifikant mit der Reklassifizierung assoziiert (PIRADS 5 versus 1 und 2: ODER = 2,71; 95% CI: 1,21-6,17, p = 0,016), verbesserte sich aber nicht gegen\u00fcber einem Modell mit nur klinischen Faktoren (AUC 0,768 versus 0,762). Bei 194 Fusionsbiopsien wurde in 21 (11 %) F\u00e4llen Krebs h\u00f6heren Grades in den gezielten Kernen gefunden, w\u00e4hrend in 25 (13 %) F\u00e4llen Krebs h\u00f6heren Grades in den systematischen Kernen gefunden wurde.<\/div>\n<div>Dies unterstreicht die wichtige Rolle sowohl der Magnetresonanztomographie als auch der systematischen Biopsie bei der genauen Erkennung von Prostatakrebs.<\/div>\n<div>In der Studie wird auch erw\u00e4hnt, dass die systematische Biopsie auf sichere, bequeme und effektive Weise durchgef\u00fchrt werden sollte.<\/div>\n<div>BXTAccelyon ist in der Lage, Patienten und \u00c4rzte \u00fcber den gesamten Verlauf der Prostatakrebstherapie hinweg unterst\u00fctzen zu k\u00f6nnen.
